Water Shut off
Begins: 12/17/2025 - 8:00 am
Ends: 12/17/2025 - 4:30 pm
Water Shut off day is December 17. You must pay your bill by 4:30 on Friday, December 12 to avoid the $40 Non Payment Fee. If you are paying after 4:30 on December 12, you MUST include the $40 NPF or your water will be shut off.
Santa House
Begins: 12/20/2025 - 12:00 pm
Ends: 12/21/2025 - 2:00 pm
Santa will be at the Santa House on December 20 & 21 from noon to 2 pm! Bring your camera's and get your picture with Santa!
Christmas
Begins: 12/25/2025
Ends: 12/26/2025
The City Hall, Street & Alley, and Water & Sewer Departments will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25 in observance of Christmas.
New Year's Eve & Day
Begins: 12/31/2025 - 7:00 am
Ends: 1/1/2026 - 5:00 pm
Thie City Hall, Street & Alley, and Water & Sewer Departments will be closed on Wednesday, December 31 and Thursday, January 1st in observance of New Year's.
City Council Meeting
Begins: 1/5/2026 - 7:00 pm
Ends: 1/5/2026 - 9:00 pm
There will be a city council meeting at 7 pm on Monday, January 5 at the Georgetown City Hall. The public is welcome to attend. The agenda will be posted under the government tab and meeting agenda, FY 2025-26.
Water Bill Due Date
Begins: 1/5/2026 - 8:00 am
Ends: 1/5/2026 - 4:30 pm
Water bills are due January 5, 2025. If you pay after January 5th there will be a 10% penalty added. Pay on our website or drop in the drop box 24/7. The drive up window and lobby are open Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Carle Mobile Market
Begins: 1/14/2026 - 1:30
Ends: 1/14/2026 - 3:00
The Carle Mobile Market will be set up in the First Church of Christ parking lot on Wednesday, January 14 from 1:30 - 3:00. They will offer low-cost food and household items. They currently accept cash and credit options, and will be expanding payment options in the coming months. Check out carle.org/services/mobile-market for more information.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
